Not a government office. This site is not affiliated with Elko County, the Nevada Judiciary, the sheriff, a police department, or any state or federal agency.
Information May Change
Courts, sheriffs, cities, state agencies, vendors, and federal offices can change phone numbers, addresses, hours, fees, links, forms, and procedures. The research used for this build was inspected through September 20, 2026, but a current official page always controls. Call before traveling or sending money.
Elko County does not publish a verified complete public warrant roster in the sources reviewed. A missing result or broken link is not an official finding about a person's status.
Verify Warrant Status
A warrant can be issued, served, recalled, quashed, cleared, returned, sealed, or held by a different court. The sheriff's Most Wanted page is a curated public-safety program. A court payment page is not automatically a warrant-status page. The issuing court controls the record and the permitted remedy.
Treat every page, screenshot, or vendor result as a starting point. Ask the issuing clerk or official agency for the current status.
Public Access Has Limits
Nevada's Public Records Act provides a general access baseline, but juvenile, sealed, investigative, confidential, and redacted material may not appear in an ordinary request or search. NRS 239.0107 sets a response action by the end of the fifth business day, not a promise that every record will be produced that day.
Ask the custodian which office holds the record and what nonconfidential portion can be released. Do not treat absence from the sheriff's page as proof that no court record exists.
Not Legal Advice
The pages explain general routes such as calling the issuing court, asking about a motion, confirming bond, or checking the court named on a ticket. They do not tell a reader what a particular warrant means legally or what action is best. A Nevada attorney can advise on a felony, surrender, motion, bond, sealed record, or uncertain notice.
Not a Consumer Reporting Agency
Elko County Warrant Records is not a consumer reporting agency as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Information from this site or a linked third-party tool may not be used to make decisions about credit, employment, insurance, tenant screening, or another FCRA-regulated purpose. The pages are for civic reference, personal court routing, and understanding official public information.
Third-Party Tools and External Sites
Search widgets and sponsored results may be operated by outside providers. Those providers control their own data handling, charges, matching, and results. The linked Nevada Judiciary, sheriff, city, state, federal, PACER, and other official sites control their own content and services. A link is not a guarantee that the destination is current or that it endorses this site.
Safety, Scams, and Emergencies
The sheriff's tip form says it is not for a crime in progress and directs emergencies to 911. Nevada's Supreme Court warned in 2026 about fraudulent court-ordered collection notices and unsolicited payment demands. Verify the court, citation, amount, and accepted payment method through an official directory or phone number before paying.
Do not approach anyone because of a Most Wanted or police page. Use official channels for information and safety.
