This is a private reference site, not an official court or law-enforcement office. Use the routing below for current Elko County warrant information, case status, court procedure, service, detention, and public-record questions.

Official contact warning. We cannot confirm, recall, or clear a warrant; accept payment; post bond; arrange surrender; or give legal advice. The answer must come from the issuing court, sheriff, police agency, or other official custodian.

County Sheriff and Detention

For county law-enforcement routing, contact the Elko County Sheriff's Office at 775 W Silver Street, Elko, NV 89801, (775) 738-3421. The public hours listed by the sheriff are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Pacific time. The site does not publish a dedicated public warrant-unit line.

Detention lists Lieutenant Adrienne Parry at (775) 777-2531 and provides the Silver Street complex as the custody route. Operations lists Lieutenant Doug Fisher at (775) 777-2540. Those contacts can route a county or custody question, but the issuing court controls recall and the underlying case.

District Court and County Clerk

The Elko County Clerk of Court is at 550 Court Street, 3rd Floor, Elko, NV 89801, (775) 753-4600, clerk@elkocountynv.net, fax (775) 753-4610. Use this route for Fourth Judicial District Court records, including felony criminal filings and related documents.

District Court Departments I, II, and III list 571 Idaho Street and use (775) 753-4601, (775) 753-4602, and (775) 738-3980. Confirm the department and current hours before travel. The clerk is not the first stop for a city traffic citation.

Justice and Municipal Courts

Lower-court questions begin with the court named on the citation or notice. Elko Justice and Municipal Court uses 571 Idaho Street and (775) 738-8403, with elkojusticecourt@elkocountynv.gov. Carlin courts use 101 South 8th Street and (775) 754-6321, with carlincourts@elkocountynv.net. Eastline Justice Court and West Wendover Municipal Court use 1111 N. Gene L. Jones Way and (775) 664-2305. Wells courts use 1510 Lake Avenue and (775) 752-3726, with jpwells@elkocountynv.net.

Ask the clerk whether the record is a citation, case, FTA, bench warrant, municipal matter, or another order. Ask what action changes the status and what date follows.

City Police Contacts

Elko Police Department lists 1448 Silver Street, (775) 777-7310, non-emergency dispatch at (775) 777-7300, and epdrecords@elkocitynv.gov. Carlin Police is listed by Nevada POST at (775) 754-2222. West Wendover Police lists 1111 N. Gene L. Jones Way and (775) 664-2930. The research did not locate a separate Wells police number or a public city warrant portal.

Police records are not the same as court warrant records. Use police contacts for an agency report or service question, then use the issuing court for recall, payment, motion, bond, or a new appearance.

State, Federal, and Records Routes

Nevada Parole and Probation's Warrants and Extraditions Unit lists (775) 684-2644 for supervision-related fugitive and warrant entry questions. The U.S. Marshals Service District of Nevada lists Reno at (775) 686-5780, Las Vegas at (725) 277-6800, and a 24-hour fugitive tip line at 1-888-869-4589. Those are different systems from an Elko city or county court matter.

For an existing-record request, start with the custodian and ask whether it has custody. NRS Chapter 239 sets Nevada's public-records baseline. The local sheriff fee and form for a warrant request were not located, so ask for current submission instructions and an estimate.

Before You Call an Official Office

Have the legal name, date of birth, case or citation number, court, city, and approximate date ready. Ask which office holds the record, the exact status term, the warrant or case type, the amount or bond, the permitted action, the next appearance, and when the update should post. Do not send sensitive information through an unverified payment notice.

Emergency: The sheriff's tip form says it is not for a crime in progress and directs emergencies to 911.
